Yesterday we spent the morning at the Public Gardens and they were gorgeous! Seriously if you ever come to Boston, Springtime is so pretty and it’s not too hot!

ONE // I just got this shirt from Gap and I know I'll be living in it these warmer months! It's thick enough to not need an undershirt and the sleeves are a perfect length!

TWO // We did this science experiment at preschool this week and the kids loved it!

THREE // These sandals have also been a staple for me ever since the weather has warmed up!

FOUR // If you listen to any podcast I recommend this is the one to! It's so important for everyone to listen to! 

FIVE // B has started requesting meals for dinner and Trader Joe's Orange Chicken is always at the top of his list!

ONE // I found my dream formal dining room! I don't really know if I want one in our future house, BUT if I do it will look like this!

TWO // I put up our Valentine decor on Monday and it's making me so happy having pink and red throughout the apartment! Here's our decorations in our old apartment. I'll have to do an updated post with pictures in this apartment soon!

THREE // Here's an idea for Valentine's cards for loved ones this year!

FOUR // I feel like I'm always talking about cold weather and dressing for it, but it's been a big change for our family since moving to Boston. With that being said we got Baby E these snow boots and he's adorable in them!

Christmas Time in the City + Links I Love {30}

Last week we took the T downtown and everything was transformed into Christmas! We can't wait to see it all at night. Hopefully that will happen soon!

ONE // My favorite idea I've heard of for stocking stuffers! I would have never thought of using the five senses to fill stockings with!

TWO // I've gotten most of my Christmas decor on clearance after the holidays. It's the smartest way to do it in my opinion! Here's something I'm wanting to add to my decor for next year!

THREE // These stockings have been on my radar for a couple years now but I haven't wanted to get them quite yet...Maybe when we're finally done with school:)

FOUR // I took these to a cookie exchange this week and they were so simple to make! They were also something different than just taking another cookie.

Happy December!

So much magic happens this time of year and you can't help but be happy! Tonight we are starting these daily Christmas activities and I might be more excited than the boys!

Yesterday we went to the downtown library, Copley Square, and the most amazing hot chocolate place in Boston- L.A. Burdick! Seriously it was like drinking a candy bar!

ONE // I'm so glad I got this coat the end of last winter and on sale! I've already worn it multiple times!

TWO // I need to order a new planner for next year. I have my eyes on this one!

THREE // We had so much leftover turkey from Thanksgiving! I ended up making this soup and this pot pie with turkey and they were delicious!

FOUR // For my husband and I's present to each other this year, we decided to buy a new rug for our living room. It's coming today and I can't wait!

We made it to Friday! Woohoo!

My husband did end up getting sick but the rest of us are on the mend and almost back to our normal selves.

Now that Thanksgiving is less than TWO weeks away I should probably figure out our plans and menu for the big feast! I'm usually more prepared so I need to get on this!

ONE // Who else puts garlic salt on their grilled cheese sandwiches?!? Next time you should also add apple slices and bacon and you will be blown away by how yummy it is!

TWO // Last week I went a little crazy at Target:) These booties came home with me and I love them!

THREE // I've been using this serum in my hair to tame my frizzy and dry ends.

FOUR // This is such a cute dress for under $20! Tights and boots would complete the outfit!:)

Pumpkin Patch + Links I Love {27}

This fall has been the first time in four years that we've felt the crisp mornings and warm afternoons. It's been so great! In Virginia we still had our AC going all the time this time of year. We are definitely meant to live somewhere with cooler weather. (I might regret saying that in a couple months!)

This week we headed to a farm for B's first hayride and pumpkin patch experience! It was an hour drive and I thought I would have some quiet time, but B was so excited he didn't stop talking the entire way! Haha I love that kid!:)

ONE // I haven't crafted in so long. I can't even remember the last thing I made. That's all going to change in a couple weeks when I make this with my sister-in-laws! I.can't.wait!!

TWO // I know I keep talking about Primark and I wish they had a website with everything they have in their stores. I went on Saturday and found the best gray sweater! Here's a similar option for those of you looking for one! 

THREE // I've never had issues with any of my Shein purchases until recently. I bought this romper to wear over my swimsuit. I got it in the mail and it was tiny! I couldn't even get it past my knees! haha

Boston Public Library + Links I Love {26}

The Boston Public Library is so pretty!

You don't usually expect people to tell you to go see a library as a touristy thing to do, but we went and I was amazed it looked like this! The children's section could entertain the boys for hours!

So lesson learned is that if someone suggests you should visit a library in a big city....do it!

ONE // I usually have a fan going in the boys room to block out noise but it's cooling down enough that I needed to find an actual sound machine. We got this one and it works great! We really like the rain sound!

TWO // This week for preschool we learned about Noah's Ark so we sang this song. It's one of my favorites!

THREE // I've made this soup twice in the last three weeks and it will be on repeat all winter long!

FOUR // I started using this serum on my face and I've already seen a difference in how my skin looks!

Beacon Hill + Links I Love {25}

A couple weeks ago a friend and I walked around Beacon Hill. It's one of the higher end parts of Boston and it definitely lives up to that reputation! There are so many beautiful buildings with lots of character!

This week was pretty relaxed. I started doing preschool with B and he's loving it! We went swimming one last time because fall...which is coming pretty fast here because there are already leaves falling off the trees! I love it! I just need to start dressing myself and the boys in warmer clothes! haha 

ONE // If you know who The Bucket List Family is, you need to listen to this podcast!

TWO // These are perfect to fill with cotton balls and q-tips to add a little character to your bathroom!

FOUR // We made this dessert on Sunday and it tasted like a no-bake cookie but better!

This week was a busy one and involved FOUR trips to the DMV! I won't tell you how annoying it was but I'm happy to say that I hopefully don't have to go back for a long time! :)

We also took a day trip to Rockport, MA this week and loved getting out of the city! All of the pictures and details will be up on the blog next week!

Hello again!

If you saw my post from Wednesday, you know that I've been trying to get some Shutterfly books done by today! I'm so close!!! These books are so time consuming but I know when the boys are older I'll be glad that I kept up with them.

We made it to the beach yesterday and the boys loved playing in the sand! We didn't swim because it was cold and windy, but I know we'll be back soon!

ONE // My husband was in charge of dessert a couple Sundays ago and he made these cheesecake cookie bars...they were amazing! 

TWO // I'm probably the last person to listen to this song, but I love it! It's so good, believe me;)

THREE // I've started doing yoga with B in the mornings after I exercise. It's so fun to watch him figure out how to get his body in different positions and I love the fact that these ones are tailored for kids!

FOUR // I'm wanting some cute everyday sandals and I found these and these, but I'm needing a cheaper option....please let me know if you know of some!

FIVE // It's my husband's birthday this weekend and he picked this dessert for me to make- I can't wait to eat it!

You guys! We survived our second big move and for anyone who has moved frequently- you are amazing! If you missed our crazy moving story you can read it here! With all the bumps we had getting here we only had a couple pieces of furniture get banged up, the rest survived without a scratch!

This post was going to be a moving tips and tricks post, but lets's be honest I basically covered all of the pictures and breakables in bubble wrap and then threw everything else in boxes! haha My husband was in charge of loading the truck and I'm sure that helped with keeping things safe.

 ONE // Here's some pins that I read to get me more organized for the move- here and here.

TWO // My calendar frame was one thing that didn't survive, so I got this magnetic one from Amazon. I love it!

THREE // I found a hat at the Red Sox Store last week that I fell in love with and now I'm convinced I need a baseball hat! Here's one that's on my radar!:)

FOUR // I've been loving using the Marco Polo app to stay in touch with my dental besties! It's basically a video walkie talkie! Go check it out!

Happy Friday!!

B is getting to the age where he is putting things in random spots and I can't find them AND pushing buttons on things he's not supposed to....the later one happened this week....with the fridge! I saw him messing with what I thought was the light button, but he really turned the fridge to the coldest setting! I realized it the next day when the milk was super cold and some lettuce we had bought the day before was frozen!

This picture was taken a year ago while we were at the beach with my sister and brother-in-law! I was also pregnant with Baby E too!:)

ONE // We got this Popsicle mold recently and B loves putting pudding in them to freeze. This week we made Oreo pudding and they are my favorite so far!

TWO // I saw this article on Facebook a couple days ago and it made me think about my attitude lately and how I need to be the kind of person I want my kids to look up to and become like. I'd definitely recommended if you're a parent to read it!

THREE // I've posted pictures of this train puzzle on Instagram, but I thought I'd share it on here! B loves this puzzle and it's so fun to put together for both of us! It also takes us about 20+ minutes to do, so if you're needing to pass time on a rainy day it's great!

FOUR // I just got this clutch for the gala! I'll have the complete look on the blog next week- Can't wait to show you all!

I'm so excited it's Easter weekend! We have an egg hunt planned, a yummy ham to eat, we're going to see Beauty and the Beast, and my husband and I get to speak in church (which I'm a little nervous about) so lots of exciting things happening with us the next few days!

ONE // We made this dessert a couple weekends ago and it was sooooo good!! I'll definitely be making it again!

TWO // We have a Dental Gala coming up in a couple weeks and I ordered these shoes in nude and this floral print. They are such cute shoes but they don't go with my dress.

THREE // For this gala I originally bought this dress, but ended up taking it back because I didn't like the look of the sleeves. I got this one instead. I love it and it's less expensive!

FOUR // I'm doing pretty good so far with the No Sugar Challenge I started on Monday. I'm a little nervous about this weekend and all that Easter candy. If you want to join in, let me know and I can add you to our Facebook group!

FIVE // It's a little late to get new Easter baskets for this year but you could get these adorable ones to use next year! We got B and Baby E this chick and this bunny one! They are under $10!!
