Yesterday we spent the morning at the Public Gardens and they were gorgeous! Seriously if you ever come to Boston, Springtime is so pretty and it’s not too hot!

ONE // I just got this shirt from Gap and I know I'll be living in it these warmer months! It's thick enough to not need an undershirt and the sleeves are a perfect length!

TWO // We did this science experiment at preschool this week and the kids loved it!

THREE // These sandals have also been a staple for me ever since the weather has warmed up!

FOUR // If you listen to any podcast I recommend this is the one to! It's so important for everyone to listen to! 

FIVE // B has started requesting meals for dinner and Trader Joe's Orange Chicken is always at the top of his list!

THREE // I got this backpack diaper bag for Christmas and I love having my hands free while I'm out with the boys!

FIVE // I bought these snow boots last year and I finally pulled them out to wear them today in the snow!

Christmas Time in the City + Links I Love {30}

Last week we took the T downtown and everything was transformed into Christmas! We can't wait to see it all at night. Hopefully that will happen soon!

ONE // My favorite idea I've heard of for stocking stuffers! I would have never thought of using the five senses to fill stockings with!

TWO // I've gotten most of my Christmas decor on clearance after the holidays. It's the smartest way to do it in my opinion! Here's something I'm wanting to add to my decor for next year!

THREE // These stockings have been on my radar for a couple years now but I haven't wanted to get them quite yet...Maybe when we're finally done with school:)

FOUR // I took these to a cookie exchange this week and they were so simple to make! They were also something different than just taking another cookie.

FIVE // My favorite scent this time of year!

We made it to Friday! Woohoo!

My husband did end up getting sick but the rest of us are on the mend and almost back to our normal selves.

Now that Thanksgiving is less than TWO weeks away I should probably figure out our plans and menu for the big feast! I'm usually more prepared so I need to get on this!

ONE // Who else puts garlic salt on their grilled cheese sandwiches?!? Next time you should also add apple slices and bacon and you will be blown away by how yummy it is!

TWO // Last week I went a little crazy at Target:) These booties came home with me and I love them!

THREE // I've been using this serum in my hair to tame my frizzy and dry ends.

FOUR // This is such a cute dress for under $20! Tights and boots would complete the outfit!:)

Happy First Day of Fall!! 

It's officially here and I'm really happy about it! 

I'm also really glad it's Friday. I'm having a tough time with B asking me so many questions all.the.time! It wouldn't be so bad except I don't know how to answer most of them! haha I know I will miss this stage once it's over but I'm having to pray for extra patience multiple times a day!

Today my Friday favorites are the items that make my favorite fall outfit!

 Button Up Tops.

You can't get more fall than that! Layering is the best way to deal with the cool mornings and warm afternoons.

Beacon Hill + Links I Love {25}

A couple weeks ago a friend and I walked around Beacon Hill. It's one of the higher end parts of Boston and it definitely lives up to that reputation! There are so many beautiful buildings with lots of character!

This week was pretty relaxed. I started doing preschool with B and he's loving it! We went swimming one last time because fall...which is coming pretty fast here because there are already leaves falling off the trees! I love it! I just need to start dressing myself and the boys in warmer clothes! haha 

ONE // If you know who The Bucket List Family is, you need to listen to this podcast!

TWO // These are perfect to fill with cotton balls and q-tips to add a little character to your bathroom!

This week was a busy one and involved FOUR trips to the DMV! I won't tell you how annoying it was but I'm happy to say that I hopefully don't have to go back for a long time! :)

We also took a day trip to Rockport, MA this week and loved getting out of the city! All of the pictures and details will be up on the blog next week!

Hello again!

If you saw my post from Wednesday, you know that I've been trying to get some Shutterfly books done by today! I'm so close!!! These books are so time consuming but I know when the boys are older I'll be glad that I kept up with them.

We made it to the beach yesterday and the boys loved playing in the sand! We didn't swim because it was cold and windy, but I know we'll be back soon!

ONE // My husband was in charge of dessert a couple Sundays ago and he made these cheesecake cookie bars...they were amazing! 

TWO // I'm probably the last person to listen to this song, but I love it! It's so good, believe me;)

THREE // I've started doing yoga with B in the mornings after I exercise. It's so fun to watch him figure out how to get his body in different positions and I love the fact that these ones are tailored for kids!

FOUR // I'm wanting some cute everyday sandals and I found these and these, but I'm needing a cheaper option....please let me know if you know of some!

FIVE // It's my husband's birthday this weekend and he picked this dessert for me to make- I can't wait to eat it!

This week we finished more projects, tried to keep Baby E from hurting himself (he keeps standing up in his crib and by the couch and falling back), and yesterday I did the cutest pixie cut and color on one of my new friends!

You guys! We survived our second big move and for anyone who has moved frequently- you are amazing! If you missed our crazy moving story you can read it here! With all the bumps we had getting here we only had a couple pieces of furniture get banged up, the rest survived without a scratch!

This post was going to be a moving tips and tricks post, but lets's be honest I basically covered all of the pictures and breakables in bubble wrap and then threw everything else in boxes! haha My husband was in charge of loading the truck and I'm sure that helped with keeping things safe.

TWO // My calendar frame was one thing that didn't survive, so I got this magnetic one from Amazon. I love it!

THREE // I found a hat at the Red Sox Store last week that I fell in love with and now I'm convinced I need a baseball hat! Here's one that's on my radar!:)

FOUR // I've been loving using the Marco Polo app to stay in touch with my dental besties! It's basically a video walkie talkie! Go check it out!

Happy Friday!!

B is getting to the age where he is putting things in random spots and I can't find them AND pushing buttons on things he's not supposed to....the later one happened this week....with the fridge! I saw him messing with what I thought was the light button, but he really turned the fridge to the coldest setting! I realized it the next day when the milk was super cold and some lettuce we had bought the day before was frozen!

This picture was taken a year ago while we were at the beach with my sister and brother-in-law! I was also pregnant with Baby E too!:)

ONE // We got this Popsicle mold recently and B loves putting pudding in them to freeze. This week we made Oreo pudding and they are my favorite so far!

TWO // I saw this article on Facebook a couple days ago and it made me think about my attitude lately and how I need to be the kind of person I want my kids to look up to and become like. I'd definitely recommended if you're a parent to read it!

THREE // I've posted pictures of this train puzzle on Instagram, but I thought I'd share it on here! B loves this puzzle and it's so fun to put together for both of us! It also takes us about 20+ minutes to do, so if you're needing to pass time on a rainy day it's great!

FOUR // I just got this clutch for the gala! I'll have the complete look on the blog next week- Can't wait to show you all!

I'm so excited it's Easter weekend! We have an egg hunt planned, a yummy ham to eat, we're going to see Beauty and the Beast, and my husband and I get to speak in church (which I'm a little nervous about) so lots of exciting things happening with us the next few days!

ONE // We made this dessert a couple weekends ago and it was sooooo good!! I'll definitely be making it again!

TWO // We have a Dental Gala coming up in a couple weeks and I ordered these shoes in nude and this floral print. They are such cute shoes but they don't go with my dress.

THREE // For this gala I originally bought this dress, but ended up taking it back because I didn't like the look of the sleeves. I got this one instead. I love it and it's less expensive!

FOUR // I'm doing pretty good so far with the No Sugar Challenge I started on Monday. I'm a little nervous about this weekend and all that Easter candy. If you want to join in, let me know and I can add you to our Facebook group!

FIVE // It's a little late to get new Easter baskets for this year but you could get these adorable ones to use next year! We got B and Baby E this chick and this bunny one! They are under $10!!

You probably saw on Instagram that I started packing this week...but we still have awhile until we move! I'm wanting to do some major de-cluttering as we pack so that's why I started so early.

I went through a decoration box yesterday and found some things I decorated our first apartment with that are definitely going to a thrift store:) I also took down some dark red curtains in my living room and it has added so much light to that room. I'm wishing I had done that earlier!

Well enough of my ramblings, here's some of my favorite links from the week!

ONE // In the top left picture I'm wearing the LipSense color Dark Pink with Matte Gloss. It's seriously the best color for spring!

TWO // Now that I took down the red curtains in my living room I'm going to start using lighter colors to decorate with in there- light grays, light blue, tan. I love the look of this living room and this one.

THREE // One of my dance costumes in middle school was similar to this top and I used to wear that shirt to school all.the.time! It's so funny to me that bell sleeves are back in style now! Maybe I should have kept that shirt;)

FOUR // I decorated for Easter this week and one of my favorite decoration is a straw egg I made from this tutorial. You still have time to make one! I got my straws from Jane.com.

We made it through the week and I'm so happy for the weekend! We are crossing something else off our Virginia Bucket List....It might even be the last thing!:) Stay tuned for a post on it next week!

I saw this picture on Facebook the other day and it couldn't be more true! This week we had 70 degree weather and then there was snow in the forecast for this weekend! I feel like I need to get my shorts out but then it turns cold again.

TWO // Just to update you all, I've finished buying snow clothes for our family and everything I got was on great sales! These snow boots came last week and they were only $15 on Amazon!

THREE // I just scheduled family pictures for the end of the month!! My husband's not too excited, but I am;)  Here's some inspiration for what I want to wear- here and here. I think the dress look is so pretty! These are two options that I can't decide on- navy or white. Let me know what you think in the comments!

FOUR // I've been wanting to try this recipe for dinner and I finally did last night! It was delicious and my husband even said it was restaurant quality!

TWO // I recently came across the website Vimbly and it will be perfect for us to use while we live in Boston! It shows you events and activities around 26 cities in the US, so if we're ever in need of something to do on a weekend we can look there! Check and see if your city is one of the 26!

THREE // I got B this tracing book so he can start learning to write letters and his name! 

FOUR // If you don't follow me on Instagram you need to! But that's beside the point, I bought this coat to get ready for our upcoming Boston winters and it's on sale for under $40!!

It's been so long since I've done a Friday Favorites post and I thought it was about time to share some of my recent favorites!

ONE // In case you missed the news, we announced this week that were moving to Boston!! All the details can be found here! Finding a place to live has been tough so any suggestions would be great!

TWO // Now that we know were we're moving, I am on the hunt for snow clothes and boots for the family! We will finally be getting a good amount of snow in our lives next winter, although I have been loving Virginia winters this year. I'm waiting for these or these boots to go on super clearance!

THREE // I was needing some stickers to mark my LipSense testers and to add something to the packages I mail to customers. I made these custom stickers on StickerApp.com and they turned out so cute!! Check out my Facebook group if you're interested in learning more about LipSense!

FOUR // We were planning on getting different dressers when we moved because ours are not in best shape. This week someone at my husband's school was giving away some dressers so we snagged them and now have one less thing to worry about! They just need a good coat of paint and they'll be perfect!

FIVE // I saw this recipe for a Raspberry Brownie Trifle yesterday and it sounds amazing! So that's what dessert we'll be eating on Valentine's Day!
