Currently using in the...{Shower}

So this post is a little random/weird but I was in the shower when I thought of it! Haha:) So here goes!

We obviously all take showers and I think it's interesting to know what different products people use in shower and what order they do everything in, so here's my list. I'd love to hear yours in the comments!

(Note: I only wash my hair once a week, so when I don't wash my hair the order is the same minus the shampooing and conditioning!)

First I make sure my boys are happy and occupied because this is usually the only time of day I have a moment alone! I shampoo my hair twice, so I first use Paul Mitchell's Shampoo Two and then wash my face with Biore face wash.

After that I rinse out my hair and put in Joico Endure Violet Purple Shampoo. I love using this to keep my blonde hair from going brassy! I let that sit in my hair for a couple minutes. Then I rinse it and put in Joico Endure Violet Conditioner and let that sit in my hair for a couple minutes as well. During that time I'll use my pumice block (less than $2!) and shave- I use Tea Tree Shampoo to shave with and it works great!

Then I rinse my hair and use body wash. Right now I'm using Zest Fruit Boost and it smells amazing!

There you have it! It seems like a lot when it's written out but it's really not that complicated;)

Target Beauty Box {Fall}

In the Spring I bought the Target Beauty Box for the first time and loved it! There was a great selection of beauty product and I have used all of them! Read about that experience here.

When I saw that the Fall one came out I bought it that same day because they sell out fast! It's such a good deal with the boxes being only $5 and free shipping! Two of the four hair products are for curly hair, which was awesome because I have naturally curly hair and I love trying new curly hair products out!
Above are all of the products I received in the beauty box, minus the flowers and tray:)

This paper came with the box and gives a good description of what the product is and how to use it. I'll write out what it says for each product below and tell you what I thought of each product.

*This post contains affiliate links.
WHAT: Lightweight spray offers a protective barrier against damage for fragile, color-treated or relaxed hair.
HOW: Use twice-daily as a moisturizer; Simply spritz in the air and walk under the mist.
*It has a nice clean smell and it also protects against heat damage. I really have liked using it and will continue to use it but probably won't buy again.

WHAT: A cream styler that defines, de-frizzes, and moisturizes tresses, leaving curls soft without hold.
HOW: Apply to freshly cleansed hair while still wet. Scrunch into hair, section by section. Allow to air dry.
*This stuff smells AMAZING!! I could seriously eat it! I thought it made my hair feel heavy and greasy, but I could smell it in my hair until I washed it again. I would use it just for the smell:)

WHAT; A lightweight, fast-absorbing serum that tames frizz and keeps curls defined.
HOW: Apply to wet or dry hair. Start at the middle and smooth down to the ends.
*I used this on dry hair and it appeared to tame my frizz for a few hours.

WHAT: Oil-based lotion restores moisture and shine to color treated or chemically processed hair.
HOW: Apply a small amount to hands and work into damp or dry hair, working from tip to root. Do not rinse.
*I only applied it from tips to mid-shaft of hair because I didn't want my roots to get greasy any faster than necessary. It did a really good job of taming my frizzy hair.

WHAT: Multipurpose ointment helps soothe and protect dry, chapped or irritated skin.
HOW Gently apply to chapped lips, dry hands, heels, feet, cracked skin, or minor burns.
*I love using this on my lips and hands right before I go to bed! It leaves them soft and ready for another day! I'm a huge fan of this, especially in the colder months.

WHAT: Breakthrough formula whitens teeth in just three days, with best results after 4 weeks.
HOW: Brush daily at least twice a day, or as directed by your dentist or physician.
*I thought it was a great whitening toothpaste. It seemed to make my teeth whiter and it has a good minty taste!
Have you gotten a Target Beauty Box? What products did you love?

I bought and reviewed this beauty box myself because I love it that much!

BeautyFix Box Review

This is a collaboration in partnership with Shop Style Collective and Dermstore. This post is written by me and all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Don't you just love getting stuff in the mail?!? I do! I was pleasantly surprised to have gotten the September BeautyFix box on my doorstep. This month, the products were focused on French and Italian influences. They were geared toward maintaining glowing and healthy skin with the new season ahead.

I hadn't heard of BeautyFix until recently and I discovered that it's very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of the products you get! BeautyFix is a subscription based box that is delivered right to your door with over $100 worth of skin, hair, and makeup products that are picked by beauty professionals. You can get your monthly BeautyFix box for as low as $12.48 and FREE shipping for a limited time!

I've taken pictures of each product that was in the box and given you the description from the paper included in the box. If I have tried out the product, I gave my opinion of it as well.
Dr. Brandt BB Cream with Signature Flexitone: Perfect and protect your skin with color coverage and sunscreen that adjusts to all skin tones for a flawless, natural finish.
*This BB cream is amazing! It gives fantastic coverage and it's so cool because it adjusts to your skin tone!
Nick Chavez Starlet Shine Spray : Enhance the vibrancy and health of your hair, resulting in frizz-free locks that last all day.
*I am a huge fan of this! My hair is prone to be frizzy with this humidity, but this stuff helps it out a bunch!
Avene Retrinal 0.1 Intensive Cream: The Vitamin A promotes gentle cell renewal to soften wrinkles and even skin tone.
Sanitas Skincare Lemon Cream Scrub: It's an exfoliate to reveal glowing skin and draw out impurities without irritation. Vitamins C + E moisturizes and heal.
*I really have loved this scrub! This stuff smells amazing! I could eat it, it smells so good!
Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain- Forever Peach: Add a warm tint to your lips and cheeks with a self-adjusting formula that enhances your natural color.
*I was a little skeptical of this at first, because it's orange but as you can see in the second picture(top is without, bottom is with it on) it really does enhance your natural coloring. I haven't tried it on my cheeks yet.
Medicell Labs Advanced Moisture Eye Mask: This was an extra sample in the box and it felt really cooling and relaxing under my eyes. I normally don't care to use masks of any sort but this one felt pretty good!

SkinMedica TNS Eye Repair and Vitamin C + E Complex: The Eye Repair nourishes and replenishes tired eyes and restores brightness and hydration with this professional-grade powerhouse. The Complex is for all over your face.
*These both felt so smooth when I applied them to my skin, but the next day my skin was really dry.

Skinceuticals Phloretin CF: Prevents free-radical damage with antioxidants to maintain your healthy, glowing complexion.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Extra-Gentle Soap- Verbena: Moisturize your skin as you cleanse with this nourishing soap scented with French verbena.
*This soap made my hands extremely soft, which was surprising because bar soap tends to dry out my hands. It smells great too!
NIA 24 Sun Damage Prevention UVA/UVB Sunsreen SPF 30/PA+++: Protect your skin from sun damage while keeping wrinkles and dark spots at bay.
Raw Spirit Summer Rain Eau De Parfum: Immerse yourself with the fresh scent of Summer Rain.
*This is a fresh smelling perfume and I like the scent!

What product would you want in your first BeautyFix Box?

August 2015 Favorites

I know we are already over a week into September, but I wasn't able to post this last week. So here goes!

In August I used some amazing products and a great styling tool. I'm so excited to share them with you! I asked for hair styling products in past hair products post and you shared ones you loved! I've tried two this past month and you guys did not disappoint!

Marrakesh X Original Leave-in Treatment : I spray this in my damp hair and it has helped a ton with the humidity. My hair has been more tame and controlled. It smells amazing too!

Sebastian Shaper Plus Hairspray: This hairspray is amazing for humid climates! Usually my hair would frizz up right when I walked out the door, but this hairspray as well as the leave in treatment (mentioned above) have made a huge difference! I bought the travel size because I didn't know if I would like it, but I do! So I'll be going back for more!

NuMe 25mm Curling Wand: I love, love, love this curling wand! My curls last for days and it has really cut down styling time!

Joico Color Infuse Shampoo and Conditioner: I got this shampoo and conditioner for a client and it has made a huge difference in keeping her red color in her hair! It actually puts red back into the hair!  We were going 2 weeks in between touch ups and now it's about every 4 weeks. I would definitely recommend this for anyone with red colored hair!
