Happy First Day of Fall!! In honor of it officially being fall, today I'm linking up with Pinky from p!nkpers!stence for "Falling for Fall" and sharing my favorite nail colors for this season! There's a fun giveaway at the end of this post you won't want to miss!
This Fall my nail color choices are drawn to dark purples, grays, dark reds, and more muted colors. Having my nails painted helps me feel more put together and it ties an outfit together!
OPI I Sāo Paulo Over There (color in giveaway)
To help your nail polish last the longest, remember to always prep your nails beforehand by pushing back any cuticles and using acetone or a good nail dehydrator like CND Scrubfresh. After applying the polish, it's good to put a cuticle oil on your cuticles each day to keep them looking in tiptop shape!
With all this talk of nails, it's giveaway time!
I wanted to share my love of nails with one of my lucky readers!
I'm giving away CND Nourishing Remover, CND Scrubfresh, CND
Solar Oil, and two amazing OPI polishes (colors shown above). US Residents only.
Winner will be announced NEXT Friday, October 2nd!

Lindsey, I love the muted colours you showcased at the beginning of this article - I'd never thought of using a soft mocha on my nails before. It looks really lovely, I'm off to buy myself some of that colour!!! Good luck to everyone who enters your giveaway, very generous of you ... and warm wishes for a very happy Autumn x

You definitely should! Thanks for stopping by! I can't wait to check out your blog!
DeleteLove all your nail colors, lady. They are perfect for fall, I need them all in my life, haha. What a fun giveaway.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful manicure!! I always love the Fall colors...and that is all year round!! Thank you for the chance to win something! :) #BlogelinaCommentathon
ReplyDeleteI do use some of these colors year round too:)
DeleteI love this! I have so many go to spring/summer colors but barely any when it comes to the cold weather months. Definitely going to check out the OPI Anti-Bleak!
ReplyDeleteMy nail lady told me that the fashion for nail colours is a year behind fashion colours - she doesn't know why. She said her clients have to remember when they visit overseas that it may be summer or winter (like here in New Zealand) and plan accordingly. heaven knows what I will need to wear when I visit Arizona next year!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard that before. Thanks for the tip!
DeleteI love the muted colors for the fall. I love the dark purples, grays, and deep reds that you have mentioned in your article. My signature color for nail polish is black, however I would like to try gray because I saw Michelle Obama with that color of nail polish and I fell in love!

You will love grey! It's such a pretty color for any skin tone!
DeleteLoving these colors. This is the first year I tried a mocha color on my nails and I love it. Now you've got me wondering about greys. Looks like I'm headed to the store to shop for polish.
ReplyDeleteYES! You need to try gray! You will love the way it looks on your nails!
DeleteGreat giveaway! i love the colors you chose for your nails!

Doused In Pink
That one is the perfect red for fall!
DeleteI tend not to paint my nails with specific colors for Fall. Although I will say that I generally stick to colors like orange, lime green, purple, and black in October because of Halloween.
ReplyDeleteThose are great colors for October! Way to be festive!
DeleteLove these fall nail colors! I need to add some of these to my collection!
ReplyDeleteYou totally should! I would suggest a grey color first!:)
DeleteOoh I really like the Lincoln Park after dark colors. I'm into the darker fall colors, it gets me excited for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI've been biting my nails for most of my life so I've never been able to wear nail varnish. I have pretty weak nails now; stupid me :(
ReplyDeleteI never paint my nails because they are always short, broken & chipped, but I do like these colours very much - much more than bright vivid colours. These more muted colours are very me!
ReplyDeleteOhhh.... I too LOVE the dark colors for Fall. Out of these choices, my favorite is the Sing in Color. Thanks for sharing these new colors - I've not seen them before now and will be adding them to my collection soon! :) #blogelinacommentathon
ReplyDeleteAHHHH such pretty fall colors. I'm not one to wear dark dark reds on my nails but all these colors are so pretty. Thanks for sharing!

Great fall colors. Had a hard time commenting because of pop up ads. I especially like the lighter colors. I recently started using nail polish. Thanks for the fun post!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know! I fixed the problem!
DeleteAbsolutely lovely colors. I love fall. Thank you for the tips to help prepare our nails for all the beautiful nail polishes.
ReplyDeleteAwesome colors & mani. I have hundreds of polish. I am something like a polish addict. :-) #commentathon Jay of www.relaxedthairapy.com
ReplyDeleteI love those colors. I have often attempted to go outside my comfort zone when it comes to nail colors, and I think that this might be a good time to give it a try!

Lindsey - those are the perfect fall nails! Beautiful color palette. I'm not so great at painting my finger nails. Though, I have discovered Jamberry nails and love dressing my nails up with those when I get a chance. Do you match your nails to the seasons or the colors you are wearing for the season?

I have never tried Jamberry nails, but have heard that they are awesome! I usually match my nails to the season- pinks in spring and summer and darker and muted tones in fall and winter!
DeleteI have nail envy! Your nails are so perfectly manicured! I love the fall color selection and think that I will add learning to give myself the perfect mani/pedi to my Bucket List!
ReplyDeleteI love all the Fall colors...especially on nails. Yours look very nice, by the way. I've never tried prepping my nails before painting them, but I will try it because my polish always chips off. thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteLove a good giveaway! I I don't often paint my nails but I do like to keep them healthy. I use essential oils and coconut oil on both hands and feet.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty colors! I don't us a lot of nail polish myself though.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors. Fall and Winter are the two times of year I paint my nails the most. I entered. I hope I win!

I love the nail colors! They are perfect for this season! :) I wear Jamberry polish a little. Love the giveaway too! Thanks
ReplyDeleteI love wearing neutrals this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI wear dark red on my toe nails, but it always looks too dark on my hands. I like my Jamberry wraps for my hands!
ReplyDeleteI love all the Fall Color's Awesome Giveaway Thank you for the Chance!
ReplyDeleteThis is a good giveaway. I've heard so much about Shellac but I've never tried it. My nails usually don't last too long :(
ReplyDeleteLove the nail colors and the tips, I've never used cuticle oil before, but I will be looking into it!
ReplyDeleteLove those colors - especially Tickle My France-y! Thank you for the chance at this wonderful giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI have nice and short nails too, I forget to jazz them up with nail polish! Great post, thanks for sharing :) xxxx
ReplyDeleteI love dark colored nail polish. I have to admit I wear it every season but I never tried black but boy I am now:) #commentathon
ReplyDeleteI always get compliments on my cuticles from my manicurist but I never do anything to them. Is there a such thing as good cuticle genes? Lol.
ReplyDeleteYour cuticles must not grow as fast as everyone else's! Lucky you!
DeleteLove OPI, I've never used Shellac before I'll have to look into that.
ReplyDeleteVery cute nail colors. I will be trying a few of these out. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhenever I see 'different' nail polishes (outside of more neutral colors I like) on other people and like them, they never look the same on me. For instance, I am visually attracted to the look of Vinylux Thisle Thicket, but I have a feeling that it would not look good on me. I think that is a really pretty color.
ReplyDeleteOy, my nails are typically a mess. Wish I had time to take care of them the way I should. I did enter your giveaway, with the hope that if I win, it will prompt me to take better care of them! #commentathon
ReplyDeleteI stopped biting my nails after being a lifetime (til then) biter. I love it. I have a good stable of colors, and have recently used Jamberry. I like mixing Jamberry with access nails painted with OPI or China Glaze. Thank you for sharing! You have some great fall colors for a maicure.
ReplyDeleteI can never keep my polish on my hands so I am more of a pedicure person. Love gray for some reason!
