Preserving your memories

If you've been reading my blog the past few months, you know how much I love crafts that don't take a ton of time and are easy to make. This one is no different!

Supplies needed:
-wood frame (I have a 4 x 6 one)
-wood plaque
-paint
-paint brush
-3M Command Velcro Strips
-Mod Podge
-scrapbook paper
-picture

Start by painting your frame and plaque the desired color. I was going to leave my frames a solid color but thought they were too dull, so I Mod Podged a piece of scrapbook paper on the plaque.

You can do this by first applying the Mod Podge to the plaque and place the paper onto it. Wait for it to dry, then use sand paper to sand off the excess scrapbook paper.

Mod Podge over the top of the paper. Let dry.

I had to remove the metal hangers from the back of the frame and attach 3M Command Velcro Strips to connect the frame to the plaque. It's easiest to place them onto the frame and line them up onto the correct spot on the plaque.
Using the Velcro strips allows you to easily change the picture in the frame.

Happy Crafting!
